Volunteers

Why volunteer?

Impaired driving crashes are preventable because they are not accidents. We can change the odds by changing attitudes. MADD Canada, through its many volunteers at their local chapters, is starting to bring about attitude change through public awareness campaigns and educational programs. These programs emphasize that it is never okay to drive impaired and you should never allow anyone you love to do so.

At a time where just under 4 Canadians die and just under 200 are injured on a daily basis due to an impaired driver, MADD Canada continues to advocate for tougher impaired driving legislation, heighten public awareness, setting a national standards of practice for victims and a focus towards youth.

Volunteer Opportunities

MADD Canada offers a variety of volunteer opportunities at your local Chapter. We hope that you will find your involvement with MADD Canada to be as rewarding and fulfilling as other volunteers have already experienced.
