At Anna's death, a light went out in her home, in her church, and in her community, Owen Sound. People who needed to rebuild their lives saw in her hope that it really could be done; people who needed gentleness and mercy received it freely from her; she could bring forth laughter and bring joy to hearts. Her joy at her baby's birth twenty-seven days before she died still lives with us, and her absolute commitment to life has given us a renewed commitment to live lives that are worth living, and to help make them worth living for others.
