Resources for Victims

MADD Metro Vancouver has many informative publications for victims of impaired driving crimes. We have on hand and recommend the We Care! Booklet, Trauma, Loss & Bereavement, Coping with Life After Injury and A Guide to the Criminal Justice System booklets. These publications were written to support victims in areas such as the grieving process, dealing with injuries caused by impaired driving as well as the court process.

We know that every day in Canada, just under 4 deaths and just under 190 injuries are caused by impaired driving. To assist the many victims injured as a result of impaired driving, MADD Canada has developed an Injury Resource Listing. This resource is a comprehensive listing of supportive agencies across Canada that will assist victims who are suffering from brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and physical disabilities. Please visit the MADD Canada web site to access the Resource Listings as well as to see our extensive listing of free services to victims of impaired driving.
