MADD Canada has launched its annual Project Red Ribbon campaign to ensure sober driving is top of mind during the holiday season.
Spokesperson Diane Mullins says Canadians are being encouraged to tie a red ribbon to their vehicles, their keys or steering wheels to raise awareness.
“Anywhere that you’ll see it when you may be not making a good decision.”
Project Red Ribbon has grown across the country after a single event was held in 1988.
Red Ribbons are available through the MADD Canada website and their Facebook page.
