Home city: Fullarton, ON
Date of crash: May 21, 2011
Bryon left for a fishing trip on the May long weekend in 2011, with his brother Harold and his brother-in-law Andy, a trip they enjoyed several times a year.
On Saturday morning, they were traveling for a morning fish with their brother-in-law Randy on the Bay of Quinte (near Trenton), when they were struck by a drunk driver. Bryon died before he could be removed from the vehicle, Andy was airlifted to Toronto where he died and Harold has had to live with the sadness of life without his brother and brother in-law.
The journey of life takes place, but it’s very difficult when a loss is caused by someone else’s recklessness.
Bryon was a strong person, loved to laugh, loved a good joke, loved birthday cards, believed in enjoying life to the fullest, worked hard and always made time for his family and friends. He made lots of great videos of our family times together and their fishing trips.
Bryon was a young grandfather and he is greatly missed by his family and friends. He was the world to his daughters, Laurie, Pamela, Jane, Julianna; his grandchildren Caleb, Jessica, Ella, Max, Jayah, Masen; sons-in law Corey, Jeff and Cory; his wife Tammy, her children Kelsey, Austin; his mom Marian; his brother Harold; his sisters Julia and Anne; sister-in-law Marie, brother-in-law Randy; and many nieces and nephews.
Bye for now, Bryon.
