Harry “Scot” Buxton

July 17, 1912 ~ February 13, 1981
Who lived in Leek, Staffordshire, England

Scot was the father of Carolyn Swinson and Grandpa to Rob, Ian and Emma. He had a terrific sense of humour and a passion for practical jokes. He was kind and generous and even though he was a single parent to his four children, we never hears him raise his voice. We respected him for giving us the freedom to follow our own path in life. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and friend.

Carolyn, Lynda, Neil, Ian and families, Richard, Ian and Emma.

Memorial Message

The following message was provided by Robert’s mother, Carolyn Swinson:

Rob was 27 years old when he was killed and his future was taken from him. He was a happy and optimistic young man who could always make you feel good. He was an avid sportsman, he loved to snowboard and to ride his mountain bike. He owned a bicycle store, a dream he had had since high school. He gave a lot of himself to others. He did not deserve this tragic death.
